Here’s what parents are saying about Calvary Chapel Preschool:

Calvary has been one of the best decisions our family ever made regarding child care and education. We are truly blessed to have this school, teachers and support staff in our lives. Our children have grown so much educationally and spiritually from the moment they set foot in the classroom.  We are so thrilled to be a part of CCYL preschool and consider it a part of our family!

My daughter has been attending Calvary Chapel Yorba Linda for the last three years, and as a parent I couldn’t be more thankful for God leading us to this location. As a parent your question is always, “will my child be in the right care” and here that has never been a question for me or my child because I am confident that she is under the proper supervision. Every teacher and director partners with you to effectively communicate your child’s learning abilities in order to make sound academic decisions that are within the best interest of your child. I know that my child is genuinely loved, looked after, and taught with the highest regard. Most importantly to academics, I wanted my child to go to a school environment where she is free to learn about God and develop a growing relationship. Her presence here has exceeded my expectations. My child has a real relationship with God and understands all that she has been taught at home & at school. Her passion for God has been developed through the various examples of each staff member’s display of their genuinely loving spirits, bright smiles, and their kind words. Through the teaching of praise and worship, loving their friends, praying, and the emphasis on the establishment of the family; my daughter has gained a strengthened foundation that will be essentially utilized for many years to come. I believe that Calvary Chapel Yorba Linda embodies the true meaning of Koinonia- the Greek word used in the New Testament: that means communion by intimate participation. This campus operates in a loving harmony and oneness, down to the family bond as brother and sister relationship in Christ. It warms my heart every time my daughter walks through the campus and I hear the various “hellos” from everyone at every age. The staff is a community of people building better lives for every single child under their care, that they take their positions seriously and view this place not as a business but as a calling. The concerns of the staff are not just for your children but are extended for each family member that may be going through the many challenges of life. They will be there for you to pray with and stand in agreement with you. I will never forget when I was going through a hard time I received a card from a staff member with caring words and thoughts of prayer that were helpful in my time of need. I was looking for a daycare and found the presence of God and a safe environment for my child to learn and grow in fellowship.

The Calvary Chapel Preschool has been awesome for our family. Our children, who are now 8, 6 & 3, have been going since they were 18 months old! The teachers are amazing. They present an academic program with patience and dedication. Their expectations are high and realistic. My two older children, who now attend public school, were more than prepared for kindergarten . The Christian values my children received will last a last time. The Calvary Chapel Preschool program has a good balance between academics, developmental needs and religious beliefs. It is a blessing to have the Calvary Chapel Preschool in our community.

Two years ago, my husband and I looked to find a preschool for our younger daughter, Samantha. As she has severe food allergies, her safety was our top priority. What we found at Calvary Chapel Preschool far exceeded our expectations. Ms. Maria, Sammi’s teacher, was a Godsend! The careful nature in which she monitored Sammi’s food in class definitely put our minds at ease. She was so vigilant. In addition, she did this without alienating her on a separate “allergy table” apart from her classmates during meal and snack times. Just as much as my husband and I grew to love CCPS, so did Sammi. She so enjoyed going to school. Not only were Sammi’s physical needs fulfilled at CCPS, her mind and soul were fed daily. I remember being impressed frequently with what Sammi was learning in school. The rate of development of Sammi’s language skills was amazing. Furthermore, it was truly a blessing to see her learning stories and verses from the Bible. Ms. Maria’s love for Jesus and her students was evident in everything she did. Just by observing the class, I was able to see that she genuinely cared for each and every one of her students. CCPS has been and continues to be a special experience for our entire family. The teachers truly care for EACH student, making sure each individual child’s needs are met on a daily basis. Since coming to CCPS we have developed so many great relationships with the staff, teachers and other families. The school conveys a sense of family and community, which has given my husband and me the peace of mind that our child is in the best care each day. Two years ago, I walked into CCPS to take a tour of the school with a list of questions to ask. I was anxious and wanted to be certain that my daughter would be in the best situation. After meeting with Ms. Carly, the preschool director, and the rest of the staff, my nerves were settled, and I knew that this was the right place for Sammi to be. These sentiments are confirmed today, when I reflect on how CCPS has cared for and nurtured Sammi during these early developmental stages.

Calvary Chapel preschool has played such an integral part in preparing our children for Kindergarten. Not only has it provided a tremendous atmosphere for worship, but it has also made us feel like part of their family and the community.

We feel truly blessed to have found such a wonderful school for our daughter.  From the first day we dropped her off we felt extremely comfortable with the staff who were taking care of her.  They are supportive and caring.  These are qualities that you do not get everywhere.  The staff treats my daughter like she is an individual and adjusts the curriculum to fit the rate at which she is learning. Finally, the Christian principles that the preschool teaches are inspiring.  Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of our most precious asset.
